About the Role

We’re looking for a Generative AI Engineer to help build the intelligence layer that powers Utkast — the system that understands people, their work, and their world.

This role sits at the frontier of machine learning and human behavior. You’ll design models and memory systems that go beyond prediction — building AI that learns, adapts, and understands context across how people communicate and collaborate.

From emails to meetings to summaries and beyond, you’ll help shape an AI that transforms information into insight — a system that feels less like a tool, and more like a trusted thinking partner.

You will

Research, evaluate, and integrate state-of-the-art LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, open-source, etc.)

Build adaptive memory and contextual learning systems that evolve with every interaction

Design end-to-end pipelines for drafting, summarizing, and semantic understanding

Work with embeddings, RAG, and vector stores (Weaviate, Chroma, Pinecone, etc.)

Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure performance, scalability, and privacy at every layer

You bring

Hands-on experience in NLP, LLM-based systems, or prompt engineering

Strong Python development skills (FastAPI experience a plus)

Familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, or custom orchestration tools

Curiosity, creativity, and a drive to push what’s possible in AI-human collaboration
