Global Quantitative Trading Firm

Gurgaon

Every organization that endures is built on a foundation of trust, discipline, and governance. Our client—a global leader in quantitative trading—is seeking an Operations Associate to manage their day-to-day trading operations in India.

This is more than a role; it is an opportunity to shape the way a pioneering firm engages with traders, exchanges and regulatory bodies, and stakeholders. In a business defined by speed and technology, you will be the steady hand that ensures integrity and requires strong analytical skills.

What you will do

  • Managing Daily Operations : Take charge of daily trading operations, including managing post-trade settlements and end-of-day processes for different types of equities and derivatives, making sure everything runs smoothly and accurately.
  • Handling Money and Risk : Oversee important financial tasks like transferring funds, managing margin calls, and making payments to various financial institutions, playing a key role in keeping finances stable and reducing risks.
  • Keeping Up with Rules : Make sure the company always follows the latest rules and regulations, and submit reports on time to important bodies like NSE, BSE, and SEBI, setting a high standard for compliance within itself.
  • Connecting with Partners : Be the main point of contact for all operational matters with exchanges, banks, and other vendors, building strong relationships and quickly solving any issues to improve their external partnerships.
  • Improving How We Work : Work closely with internal teams to constantly improve their control systems and make their operations more efficient, directly helping the company be more agile and competitive.
  • Supporting Audits and Trust : Help with important audits and regulatory checks, making sure all their operations are completely transparent and contributing to the company's reputation for honesty and accountability.

What we are looking for

  • 5–10 years of experience in post-trade operations, preferably in capital markets or trading environments.
  • Sound understanding of clearing and settlement cycles, exchange reporting, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with NSE / BSE processes, transaction reporting, or operations in hedge funds or investment firms.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a structured approach to handling time-sensitive tasks.
  • Why this role matters

In an environment where every second counts, you will ensure that accuracy and timeliness is never compromised. The role demands precision, accountability, and a strong understanding of capital markets, clearing, and settlement processes. You’ll work closely with traders, exchanges, and banks to ensure seamless execution of end-of-day operations and regulatory compliance.

This is a chance to build not just a career, but a legacy—where your work safeguards the future of markets, teams, and stakeholders.
