Role Description

Rockshell Corp is hiring a full-time Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer for an on-site role based in Mumbai. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing electrical and instrumentation systems for heating and cooling solutions. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical systems, ensuring process control, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement energy-efficient technologies. The successful candidate will also ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Selection of appropriate electro-mechanical and electronic instruments for the heat pumps
• Preparing a detailed IO list for control panels
• Testing the control panel at the factory and the customer’s site
• Ensure all instruments communicate with the PLC during the factory test
• Plan proper cable routing for control and power cables
• Ensure the wiring diagram captures all the details before final submission to the client
• Maintain records and documentation related to the control panel (like wiring diagram, instrument type and model, etc) for all the projects
• Troubleshooting and Electrical Engineering skills
• Experience in Process Control and Instrumentation
• Proficiency in working with Electricity
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
