Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Property Accountant (Development Accountant) with 5+ years of experience in U.S. property management accounting . This role will focus on development accounting, financial reporting, and supporting key property management operations. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with draw accounting, payables, payrolls, and financial statement preparation, while maintaining accuracy and compliance with U.S. standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Financial Reporting & Development Accounting
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for development projects.
• Maintain general ledgers and ensure accurate monthly and year-end closing.
• Handle draw accounting, including preparation and tracking of draw requests.
• Payables & Cash Management
• Process and approve payables, wire requests, and ensure timely disbursements.
• Run aging reports, monitor outstanding payables, and follow up with vendors.
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Process invoices, review supporting documentation, and ensure proper coding and approvals.
• Approve payables, set up wire requests, and ensure timely disbursements.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Run aging reports and follow up with vendors for outstanding balances.
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Record rent and other receivables accurately and on time.
• Monitor tenant ledgers, reconcile payments, and follow up on overdue balances.
• Generate AR aging reports and work with property managers to reduce delinquencies.
• Operational Support
• Collaborate with U.S. cross-functional teams to address accounting queries.
• Provide insights and support for property-related decision-making.
