Databricks Gen AI Engineer

Job descriptionExperience with Databricks GenAI, including Model Serving, Vector Search, and embedding workflows. Strong command of Databricks Lakehouse (Clustering, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake). Knowledge of LLMs, embeddings (OpenAI / Azure OpenAI), and GenAI app patterns (RAG / Agents). 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Python, PySpark, and Data Engineering. Proficiency in SQL, Spark performance tuning, and distributed computing. Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred). Experience with CI / CD using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Good to Have
- Familiarity with React.js for developing simple UI modules.
- Experience with MLflow for model tracking.
- Exposure to metadata-driven frameworks or automation-based accelerators.
- Understanding of MLOps and orchestration tools (Airflow, ADF, DB Workflows).
- Knowledge of Lakehouse security and governance concepts.
