Landscape Civil Engineer

Job Summery :

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the technical planning, detailing, and supervision of civil works related to landscape projects. The role involves bringing landscape designs to life with precision and creativity by ensuring quality execution of landscape infrastructure such as grading, paving, drainage, retaining structures, and services integration, coordinating with consultants and site teams.

Key Role and Responsibility :

Review civil working drawings including grading plans, paving layouts, levels, and drainage details for landscape projects

Coordinate with landscape designers, architects, and MEP consultants to integrate civil services seamlessly within the design.

Prepare a project completion schedule along with a corresponding material procurement schedule.

Supervise site execution of landscape-related civil works such as pathways, retaining walls, planters, water features, drains, and foundations for structures

Prepare RA bills for civil components of landscape works.

Verify setting out, levels, and alignment on-site as per approved drawings.

Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to design quality, safety, and construction standards.

Liaise with contractors and vendors to ensure timely execution.

Provide technical inputs and resolve design or site-related issues during execution.

Maintain daily / weekly progress reports and quality checklists.

Ensure all works comply with local building codes, sustainability guidelines, and safety protocols.

Education and Experience :

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BE / BTech).

3–8 years of experience in civil works related to landscape, infrastructure, or architectural projects.

Strong understanding of grading, drainage, paving, and detailing in landscape contexts.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project coordination tools.

Good understanding of construction materials, site practices, and quality standards.

Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.

Preffered attributes :

Experience in large-scale landscape or township projects.

Familiarity with irrigation, lighting, and services coordination in outdoor spaces.

Detail-oriented with a strong sense of design implementation.

Autocad, powerpoint, Photoshop, Sketch up

Good communication skills - Marathi, Hindi and English
