Fundraising Manager

Job Title : Fundraising Manager Location : Gurugram, Haryana

Education : Master’s in Social Work (MSW) or MBA in any stream

Experience : Minimum 5 years of proven experience in fundraising, preferably in the development or social impact sector

Salary Range : 10-12 LPA CTC (based on experience and skills)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fundraising Manager to lead and expand our resource mobilization efforts. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, cultivating donor relationships, writing proposals, managing grants, and ensuring sustained income generation to support our programs.

Key Responsibilities :

Fundraising Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement a robust fundraising strategy aligned with organizational goals

Identify new funding opportunities from CSR partners, foundations, government agencies, and international donors

Donor Management & Cultivation

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential donors

Ensure regular communication and reporting to funders, maintaining high standards of donor stewardship

Proposal Writing & Grant Management

Write persuasive grant proposals, concept notes, and reports

Collaborate with program teams to gather relevant data and impact stories for fundraising content

MOU / Contract Negotiations

Participate in drafting, reviewing, and revising MOUs and funding agreements

Coordinate with legal and finance teams to ensure contractual and compliance accuracy

Reporting & Documentation

Maintain comprehensive fundraising data, trackers, and donor databases

Provide monthly and quarterly reports on fundraising progress and projections

Networking & Representation

Represent Samvedna at relevant events, CSR platforms, donor meetings, and conferences

Build visibility of the organization’s impact through partnerships and thought leadership

Desired Skills & Competencies :

Strong understanding of the development sector and CSR ecosystem in India

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proven track record in achieving fundraising targets (preferably in the ₹10 Cr+ range annually)

Strong networking and relationship-building abilities

Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation skills

Proficiency in MS Office, proposal templates, and fundraising CRMs
