Role Description

This is a contract role for a QA Tester specializing in JMeter with over five years of experience. This remote position involves executing tests, ensuring quality assurance, conducting manual testing, and developing comprehensive test cases. The QA Tester will be responsible for identifying and addressing any issues, maintaining high standards of quality, and collaborating with the development team to enhance product performance.

Job Summary

The QA Engineer will focus on QA testing to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability using Selenium, Postman, and JMeter, with expertise in REST API testing. This role involves creating and executing test plans to deliver robust applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute QA test plans and scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Automate web application testing using Selenium for cross-browser compatibility.
• Test REST APIs using Postman to validate functionality and integration.
• Conduct performance and load testing with JMeter to ensure scalability.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA.
