Lighting Sales job description involves identifying potential clients and sales opportunities providing expert advice on lighting products and solutions creating and presenting proposals negotiating deals and closing sales to meet targets. Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Lead Generation : Identify and pursue new sales opportunities by canvassing potential customers.

Client Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with clients including designers architects and project teams by providing expert advice and product information.

Product Knowledge & Presentations : Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of lighting solutions to clients.

Proposal & Quotation : Prepare and present detailed quotations and proposals for lighting projects based on client needs.

Negotiation & Closing : Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve revenue targets.

Industry Awareness : Stay updated on the latest industry trends new technologies and relevant government regulations in the lighting sector.

Team Collaboration : Work with internal teams such as project delivery or technical specialists to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.

After-Sales Support : Offer post-sales support resolve customer issues and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Sales Skills : Strong sales acumen ability to develop sales strategies and proven experience in generating leads and closing deals.

Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client presentations and negotiations.

Technical Knowledge : A solid understanding of lighting products their features and benefits particularly LED lighting.

Industry Expertise : Familiarity with the lighting industry its trends and its key stakeholders like designers and architects.

Education & Experience : A bachelors degree in business marketing or a related field along with relevant sales experience is often required or advantageous.

Proven experience as a sales executive or relevant role. Proficiency in English. Excellent knowledge of MS Office. Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
