Job description

Role Summary :

Were seeking a hands-on technology leader to take ownership of the modernization, scalability, and delivery speed of our LOS platform. You'll drive architecture transformation, guide engineering execution, and lead the charge in delivering new features faster ensuring the platform scales to meet growing customer demands and supports Gen AI / LLM-based capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct an end-to-end technical review of the existing platform (Java, Node.js, ReactJS, PostgreSQL on AWS)
  • Lead the effort to break monolithic microservice to modular or microservices-based design
  • Architect a high-performance system to support concurrent users, complex workflows, and scalable deployment
  • Optimize PostgreSQL performance, indexing, and schema design for real-time financial data processing
  • Enable rapid delivery through CI / CD pipelines, automated testing, and robust DevOps practices
  • Drive modernization of the React-based front end for better performance and maintainability
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, and Design teams to prioritize and launch high-impact features

including financial spreading, credit memo automation, rent roll analytics, and AI-driven loan insights

  • Integrate Gen AI and LLM technologies into core workflows (document parsing, memo generation, underwriting)
  • Own reliability, observability, and uptime ensuring system stability across all client environments

    • Required Skills :

  • 10 to 14 years of strong hands-on expertise in Java and Node.js for high-throughput backend systems
  • Experience refactoring monolithic applications into microservices or modular services
  • Deep experience with PostgreSQL performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies
  • Strong command of ReactJS, with emphasis on front-end performance and component-based architecture
  • Proven ability to lead architecture decisions in AWS-based environments
  • Solid understanding of CI / CD, Docker, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment automation
  • Experience integrating GenAI / LLMs or working with AI infrastructure (e.g., vector DBs, model APIs)
  • Demonstrated success in leading engineering teams through modernization efforts
  • Excellent debugging, profiling, and system performance tuning capabilities

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building or scaling commercial lending or financial SaaS platforms
  • Familiarity with financial spreading, rent roll analysis, DSCR, NOI, Cap Rate calculations
  • Understanding of event-driven architecture and tools like Kafka, RabbitMQ
  • Experience with observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Familiarity with DevOps / SRE principles and maintaining production-grade SaaS platforms
