We are seeking an experienced L2 L3 Protocol Developer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network protocol development and will be responsible for designing and implementing robust networking solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement L2 and L3 network protocols for various applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate protocol features into existing systems.
Conduct testing and debugging to ensure high-quality and reliable protocol implementations.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in networking technologies.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

4-12 years of experience in protocol development, specifically in L2 / L3 protocols.

Strong programming skills in C and Linux.

Proficient in networking concepts, including TCP / IP, Ethernet, MPLS, and routing protocols like OSPF and BGP.

Experience with network simulation tools and debugging tools for protocol analysis.

Familiarity with software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
