Software Engineering Lead

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using  Laravel 9+  and  PHP 8

Implement and manage  Laravel Jobs, Queues, Events, and Listeners

Develop and maintain Python-based applications  and background tasks

Debug, optimize, and refactor both legacy and new code for performance and maintainability

Collaborate with  QA, DevOps, and Product teams  to deliver high-quality solutions

Write clean, well-documented, and testable code that’s easy to understand and maintain

Requirement :

5+ years of experience working with  Laravel (v9+)  and  PHP 8

Hands-on experience with  Laravel Queues, Jobs, and Worker setup

Proficiency in  Python scripting , including building job apps and schedulers

Experience developing and integrating  RESTful APIs

Familiarity with  MySQL or PostgreSQL

Comfortable using  Linux-based environments  and  command-line tools

Good to have :

Experience with  Docker ,  CI / CD pipelines , or  cloud platforms  (e.g., AWS, Azure)

Familiarity with  task scheduling tools  (e.g., Celery for Python)

Exposure to  monitoring tools  and  logging best practices

Understanding of  application security  and performance optimization
