Job description

Position : GCP Data Engineer

LOcation : Remote

Duration : Full Time

Essential Skills :

  • 6+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (BigQuery, Cloud Run, Scheduler).
  • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with dbt.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code principles.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL / ELT processes, and data modeling.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Additional Skills :

  • Terraform
  • API Development
  • Knowledge of streaming data processing concepts (e.g., Kafka, Pub / Sub).
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines.
