Description : About the Role :
Were seeking an experienced Sr. Team Lead Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and automated cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Terraform, CI / CD automation, and AWS services, with the ability to lead and deliver complex infrastructure projects end to end.
Key Responsibilities :
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Build, customize, and optimize Terraform templates aligned with customer-defined Landing Zones for automated infrastructure provisioning.
- Automation & CI / CD : Develop and integrate CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins, Chef, Git, AWS CodePipeline, and other customer toolsets to ensure smooth deployment workflows.
- Cloud Implementation : Deploy and configure AWS services such as EKS, RDS, S3, networking, and security components in line with approved architecture and compliance standards.
- Environment Management : Execute infrastructure deployments across Dev, QA, and Production environments while validating builds through automated testing frameworks.
- Operations & Migration : Perform day-to-day infrastructure build, migration, and handover activities, ensuring delivery within stipulated timelines.
- Governance & Compliance : Ensure infrastructure design and deployment adhere to best practices, governance policies, and security guidelines.
Required Skills & Experience :
10- 17 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure Engineering or related roles.Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch).Proven expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.Proficiency in CI / CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Chef, AWS CodePipeline).Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring within cloud environments.Experience leading technical teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.Good to Have :
AWS Certification (Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer).Experience with migration projects or hybrid cloud environments.(ref : hirist.tech)
