Cloud Solution Architect

This role is a deep technical role, part of the larger sales ecosystem. This role will focus on positioning and adoption of Oracle’s Cloud Technology Products. This role offers you to be a part of Enterprise Digital Transformation projects and a chance to work closely with Oracle’s solutions around Cloud infrastructure, database consolidation, data strategy, data science & analytics initiatives and emerging tech. We are looking for professionals with solid experience in providing solutions to complex business challenges especially around digital transformation initiatives. Knowledge and background in Cloud Architecture (IaaS &PaaS), Database, Information Security, Integration Technologies, Cloud Native technologies is a must. Knowledge around specific Oracle technology product offerings would be an advantage.

Description

You will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide support as Solutions Architect to numerous customer opportunities and other initiatives.
• To identify the best Oracle products and solutions for solving business problems
• To Architect a solution cutting across Oracle stack, help the larger Hub and Solution Engineering team, build Demos and PoCs that will best describe Oracle’s value propositions.
• To position Oracle’s Strategy and Solutions as key differentiator in sales cycle
• To Become the solution expert for a designated solution area
• Collaborate with other pre-sales teams to drive business results, enhance win rates and better customer propositions
• Engage with customers by translating their business needs into appropriate Oracle solutions
• Create and deliver presentations, customized demonstrations, seminars and workshops to customers and partners, as well as public events
• Contribute technical responses for invitations to tender (ITT), request for information (RFIs) and requests for proposal (RFP)
• Keep abreast of all new products, market trends, future directions and the competition for areas of focus
• Maintain up to date, relevant knowledge of competitive solutions and winning strategies.
• Actively develop product expertise
• Ongoing education and training of the sales force on Oracle technologies and solutions.
• Document and share lessons learned and best practices
• Operate in line with all Oracle processes and procedures
