Job descriptionExperience in cloud-based data platforms (e.g., GCP, Snowflake, BigQuery). Understanding of data lineage, data quality, and data privacy concepts. Exposure to BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and how they integrate with data catalogs. Knowledge of metadata standards (e.g., business glossary, technical metadata, usage metadata).
Required Skills & Experience :
- 7-10 years of experience in data stewardship, data governance, or data analytics roles.
- Hands-on experience with Alation or similar enterprise data catalog platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica EDC, Atlan).
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to query, analyze, and validate large datasets.
- Familiarity with ETL / ELT pipelines and data engineering concepts.
- Proven experience translating technical data logic into business-consumable language.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams involving business, data engineering, and analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
