Position Overview :
We are seeking a Performance Engineer to support system optimization and ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency across applications in the 5G wireless domain. The role involves evaluating the performance of systems, logs, data, and workflows to identify bottlenecks and recommend actionable improvements. The candidate will collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to drive performance excellence. They will utilize APM tools such as New Relic, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics to measure and enhance system performance. Additionally, the role requires querying and analyzing data through log aggregation tools like CloudWatch, Logz.io, Splunk, and New Relic, and leveraging SQL skills to extract insights from enterprise data lakes to support data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate the performance of systems, logs, data, and functional workflows to identify bottlenecks and recommend actionable improvements.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and efficient.
- Utilize APM tools such as NewRelic, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics to measure performance and identify areas for optimization.
- Query and derive business insights through log aggregation tools like CloudWatch, Logz.io, Splunk, and New Relic to measure business performance.
- Leverage SQL skills for performance insights, utilizing data from enterprise data lakes.
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.Master’s degree preferred but not mandatory.Experience :
5+ years of experience in System analysis and system performance, or a related role.Technical Skills :
Strong experience in analyzing logs, monitoring tools, and performance metrics to identify improvements.Knowledge of code base in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices frameworks.Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, CI / CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Experience with PL / SQL, ETL processes, and APIs for data integration and performance optimization.
