T&C Engineer Signalling

Job Description

To monitor, review, and verify Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities for the RF-CBTC UTO signaling system on behalf of the General Consultant, ensuring that the contractor and system suppliers comply with contract specifications, safety requirements, and international standards for signaling and automation.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Oversight & Verification

• Supervise and witness the Contractor’s T&C activities , including PAT(Partial Acceptance Test), SAT(System Acceptance Test), System Integration Test (Incl. static tests, dynamic tests), integrated system tests, and trial runs for CBTC UTO system .
• Review and validate test procedures, method statements, and acceptance criteria prepared by the Contractor.
• Ensure that T&C works are executed as per the contract requirements, interface specifications, and safety standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129).

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Railway Engineering or relevant technology .

8+ years of experience in signaling projects, preferably CBTC with UTO or GoA4 experience.

T&C Experience at another similar metro projects with RF-CBTC technology

Experience with General Consultant / Independent Checking Engineer (ICE) roles is highly desirable.

Required Skills & Competencies :

Preferred Certifications :

IRSE license or equivalent signaling qualification.

RAMS / Safety Certification knowledge.

Project Management skills (e.g., PMP is a plus).

Requirements

BTech Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree (MTech or MSc preferred) At least 8 years of total professional experience At least 5 years relevant rail / metro experience Previous design (or design review) experience mandatory. General Consultant (or client organisation) experience preferred Excellent (written / verbal) command of English
