Role Purpose

Electrical and Controls Engineer

What the role entails

(Key Responsibilities)

• Design and develop electrical control systems for high-precision automated equipment , including wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and safety circuits.
• Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, motion controllers, and industrial communication networks.
• Integrate high-performance motion systems including servo motors , stepper motors , encoders , and linear actuators for synchronized multi-axis control.
• Select and specify electrical components (relays, breakers, power supplies, sensors, cables) with consideration for signal integrity and EMI / EMC.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to implement precise motion profiles, feedback loops, and real-time control algorithms.
• Develop and tune closed-loop control systems for sub-micron positioning accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical safety and regulatory standards (e.g. CE, UL, NFPA79, IEC 60204-1).
• Support system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning—onsite and remotely.
• Maintain design documentation including schematics, I / O lists, BOMs, and wiring diagrams using EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical.

Minimum Qualifications & Critical Exposure to Perform the Job at the Optimum Level

3 - 5 years

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
