General duties

Installation of infrastructure : Installing safety features such as crash barriers, road signs, traffic signals, and street lamps.

Traffic control : Setting up cones, barricades, and directing traffic as a flagman to ensure the safety of workers and the public.

Maintenance : Painting road markings, maintaining roadside verges, and clearing snow and grit roads in winter.

Equipment operation

Operating heavy machinery like backhoes, bulldozers, and pavers.

Using power tools and equipment for tasks like jackhammering and cement mixing.

Specialized roles

Surveyor : Measuring land, mapping the road's path, and ensuring the alignment and elevation meet specifications.

Project Manager : Overseeing the entire project, managing budgets, coordinating teams, and ensuring efficiency and safety.
