Exp Range : 5 - 9 Years

Primary accountabilities :

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of assigned beats, including but not limited to politics, business, education, entertainment, or sports.

Cultivate and expand a network of reliable sources within the assigned beats to stay ahead of news developments.

Gather information, conduct interviews, and write compelling news stories that adhere to journalistic standards and ethical practices.

Demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English and the local language to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.

Be available to cover breaking news and developments within assigned beats at any time, including evenings and weekends.

Adhere to all relevant laws and ethical practices related to journalism, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and impartiality in reporting.

Work closely with editors, photographers, and other team members to deliver high-quality and well-rounded news coverage.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Mass Communication, or a related field.

Proven experience in mainstream media.

Strong command of English grammar and editorial best practices.
