IT Head

Position Responsibilities

IT will support in leading the group's IT strategy,

integrating robust infrastructure management, digital transformation, and SAP systems

expertise to achieve operational excellence and business growth. This role emphasizes

building and managing a high-performing IT support team, and leveraging advanced

technologies such as AI, ML, IoT, and blockchain. This role will also oversee cybersecurity,

compliance, and vendor relationships while ensuring seamless alignment of IT with business

objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• IT Alignment with Business Objectives

 Support in defining IT strategies that align with business goals, focusing on growth,

operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

 Support in developing and execute IT roadmaps to support ERP, manufacturing, and

service delivery processes.

 Ensure IT systems meet both immediate operational needs and long-term strategic

objectives.

 Lead the full-cycle implementation of SAP S / 4 HANA, from requirements gathering

and blueprinting to go-live and post-implementation support.

 Build and manage a dedicated SAP support team, ensuring the smooth operation of

SAP.

 Oversee SAP technical components, including BASIS and ABAP, to ensure system

stability, performance, and custom development as needed.

 Ensure seamless integration of SAP with other business applications and IT systems,

enhancing overall efficiency and data accuracy.

 Conduct periodic upgrades, patches, and system enhancements to maintain SAP

systems' relevance and security.

 Oversee IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud

platforms, ensuring seamless SAP integration and 24 / 7 operational availability.

 Manage system performance, disaster recovery plans, and backups to ensure

business continuity, particularly for critical SAP functions.

 Ensure IT operations are efficient, scalable, and aligned with best practices in

manufacturing and service industries.

 Implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect SAP systems, sensitive

organizational data, and operational assets.

 Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, including ISO standards, and IT

governance policies relevant to the organization.

 Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to safeguard enterprise-wide

IT systems.

 Lead initiatives to modernize business processes by integrating various platforms.

 Drive the adoption of predictive analytics and real-time reporting to support datadriven decision-making.

 Explore innovations in SAP and other solutions to enhance user experience and

operational efficiency.

 Manage IT projects, including SAP implementations, upgrades, and integrations,

ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and organizational goals.

 Apply agile project management methodologies, to achieve high-quality deliverables.

 Plan and manage the IT budget, with a focus on investments, ensuring cost

efficiency and high ROI.

 Optimize licensing, infrastructure costs, and third-party vendor expenses.

 Demonstrate the value of IT investments through measurable business outcomes.

 Manage relationships with technology vendors to ensure high-quality services and

products.

 Oversee vendor selection, negotiate contracts, and manage service-level

agreements (SLAs) for implementation and support.

 Build and mentor a high-performing IT Services team, ensuring expertise in both

functional and technical aspects.

 Foster continuous learning and skill development.

 Promote collaboration and innovation within the team to solve complex business

challenges.

 Oversee the deployment and integration of IoT-enabled OT systems IT systems to

enhance productivity.

 Implement predictive maintenance strategies and analytics to minimize downtime.

 Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and IT governance

frameworks applicable to SAP and other enterprise systems.

 Identify and mitigate risks in SAP implementation and operations through proactive

planning and monitoring.

Qualifications

Education

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a

related field.

 Relevant certifications in SAP, IT and Project Management.

Experience

 At least 5 years in a leadership role

 Expertise in managing a large team of multifunctional consultants and engineers

 Proven track record in full cycle SAP implementation, including post-go-live support

and upgrades.

 Strong experience in managing IT infrastructure to ensure seamless integration and

high availability of systems.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience

 Hands-on experience with SAP cloud solutions and SAP Fiori for enhanced usability.

 Expertise in integrating SAP with other platforms

 Building and managing data centres, disaster recovery centres

 Implementation of business continuity planning
