Summary Pinnacle Group is seeking a Workday Extend Developer to design, build, and maintain custom applications within the Workday ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of development experience and a strong understanding of Workday architecture, with a particular focus on Extend Studio, Prism, and Workday’s API framework. This role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, HRIS, and technical teams to develop scalable, secure, and compliant Workday applications that support business process automation and data accessibility. Job Description Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Workday Extend Studio and other Workday tools Build Workday-native solutions to enhance existing modules or solve new business use cases Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into Extend application designs Integrate Extend apps with core Workday objects and external systems using REST APIs, Workday Web Services, and Prism Analytics Apply Workday's UX guidelines and security frameworks to ensure consistent and compliant application delivery Support and maintain existing Extend applications, resolve issues, and implement enhancements Contribute to Workday tenant configuration and participate in release testing and validation Ensure technical documentation and knowledge sharing across development and support teams Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 4–6 years of experience in software development with strong knowledge of Workday Extend, Workday Studio, or Workday integration frameworks Experience with REST APIs, XSLT, XML, and JSON Proficient in object-oriented programming and comfortable learning Workday-specific development patterns Strong understanding of Workday data structures, security model, and application lifecycle Ability to work independently and in a team-based, Agile development environment Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset Preferred Qualifications Experience with Workday Prism Analytics, Workday Orchestration, or Workday Studio integrations Workday certification(s) in Extend or Studio highly preferred Background in HR systems, workforce analytics, or enterprise application development Familiarity with CI / CD, version control tools, and Workday deployment best practices Why Join Pinnacle Group?
