Head of Human Resources

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources to lead the people function and manage the HR team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing HR strategies that align with the company’s vision, culture, and growth objectives. This role will oversee all aspects of human resources — including talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, and compliance — while fostering a high-performance, people-first culture and building a strong foundation for scale, growth, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans / policies for matters such as employee compensation, benefits, health-safety, performance / talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale.
• Support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training / learning & development, etc., to enhance employee growth & satisfaction.
• Oversee all HR activities, initiatives, systems, and tactics & provide expert guidance.
• Ensure the organization’s compliance with applicable laws & regulations; recommend best practices; review and modify policies as required.
• Deal with grievances and violations, invoking disciplinary action when required.
• Design & implement HR dashboards that present data in a meaningful & actionable framework for leadership, ensuring quality assurance & delivering insights.
• Participate in executive, management, & company employee meetings and attend other meetings, seminars as & when required.
• Conduct research & analysis to maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, & new technologies in human resources, talent management, & employment law; apply this knowledge & communicate updates to all employees and upper management.
• Develop & implement the departmental budget.
• Facilitate professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff.
• Communicate with external service providers such as housing, transport, insurance, etc.
