Job Summary
Project Manager is responsible for managing the team, maintain client relations, build project plans and ensuring that the assigned project is successfully delivered on time, within agreed scope and budget. They must work on delivering realistic outcomes, delegate assignments along with performance and efficiency of the team.

Strategy
Responsible for managing the delivery of a workstream within a project or a low-complexity project, working closely with the relevant Business leads and wider set of stakeholders on a daily basis.
Provides inputs to PMO / Program or Project Manager to create financial baselines and track cost actuals in a detailed budget document for submission to PMO and Finance monthly.
Assists and provides inputs to (if required) PMO / Project or Program Manager so they can manage project expenditure against budget as agreed in the project business case and project definition document or approval request.
Provides inputs and participates in relevant Governance Committees together with Program / Project Manager and PMO.
Business
With the support from Program / Project Manager manages conflicts in stakeholder expectations, employee experience and good practice in process solution design across multiple workstreams.
Understands risks, business imperatives and business context when facilitating decision making impacted by the process re-design, create solution options and make recommendations.
Presents clear options and recommendations, facilitates decision making and enables clear understanding in key stakeholders of risks, outcomes and trade-offs.
Processes
Participates in or co-facilitates agile ceremonies in collaboration with technology delivery scrum masters.
Supports continuous improvement and operational efficiency of processes to optimise operating model and employee experience.
Works with the business architect and other planners to assess current capabilities and identify high-level customer requirements with the help of Product Owner.
Ensures user stories and use cases are defined as per requirements.
Ensures the Requirements Traceability Matrix is set up and maintained.
Works with the Design team, Architects, and other Programme / Project team members to define metrics and performance goals for the application.
Participates in quality management reviews, process designs, prototypes and other requirements workbooks to ensure they fulfil stakeholder's requirements.
With Program / Project managers works with Product Owner to groom and prioritise the product backlog.
Manages project governance through delivery of work and sprint plans, agile ceremonies and relevant Governance forums.
People & Talent

Works with Project / Program Manager to ensure the project team is adequately resourced and staffed by an appropriate number of competent staff to support delivery of the strategy.
Works with Project / Program Manager to ensure each project role / resource has clear responsibilities, reporting lines, delegated authorities and objectives.
Risk Management
Works with Program / Project managers to manage & track risks, issues, impediments throughout the project life cycle and to follow up through it's resolution.
When required appropriately escalates impediments and blockers to the Program / Project Manager, PMO, Chief Product Owner (CPO), relevant Governance Forums and ensures ownership by committee members for the mitigating actions.
Prepares materials for governance meetings as required including Board quality presentations.
With Program / Project managers support ensures key person risks (BaU and project) are mitigated.
Governance
When required appropriately escalates impediments and blockers to the Program / Project Manager, PMO, Chief Product Owner (CPO), relevant Governance Forums and ensures ownership by committee members for the mitigating actions.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
Displays exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.

Project / Programme Manager, Product Owners, Design Lead & Vendor teams.

Internal communications team, Corporate Communications team, Subject Matter Expert employees.
Key Functional Partners : ITO, Finance, Compliance, Legal and Risk.
Other Responsibilities
Embed Here for Good and Group's brand and value in project team.
Collectively responsible for delivering efficiency and goals and targets associated with the Programme.
Skills and Experience
PM or PMO experience in large and complex, multi-geography, multi-disciplinary projects.
Excellent communication and presentation skills : PowerPoint, Excel, written & oral
Project Management and / or Agile experience / certification
Use of planning tools e.g. Clarity PPM, Jira, Confluence, Trello
Qualifications
Bachelor degree from a reputable university
Minimum of 8+ years experience in banking field, with proven track record in leadership role in Project Management of Information Technology projects
Project Management Certificate from PMP or Prince2
Have knowledge of structured project management methodologies such as PMI PMBOK and must be experienced in applying project management knowledge, skills, tools, concepts, and techniques.
In-depth experience in Change, Vendor and Resources management.
Experience in project planning, process improvement, performance measurement, and managing a project life cycle.
Have knowledge of the importance of quality in data content and Service Management processes.
Strong analytical skills, training, interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work in a team and is a good team player.
Able to handle multi-tasks, manage time effectively and perform under pressure.
Able to work at flexible hours and travel
Other than above roles, job holder should follow other job duties and responsibilities assigned by line manager from time to time.
