Role : DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Role Overview :

The AWS DevOps Engineer is responsible for automating, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines using Amazon Web Services (AWS). The role collaborates across development and operations teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable application delivery in agile environments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI / CD pipelines for streamlined software delivery.
  • Manage and configure AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, etc.).
  • Automate provisioning, deployment, and operational processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Ensure security best practices for cloud resources and platform management.
  • Set up and optimize monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch and other APM tools.
  • Troubleshoot system performance and application issues, ensuring high availability and

reliability.

  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams for smooth workflow integration.
  • Work with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS) and support microservices

    • deployment.

  • Oversee DevOps toolset management (Jenkins, GitHub, Ansible, Maven, etc.) and keep

    • automation coverage high.

  • Drive continuous improvement in deployment strategies, cost optimization, and process Skills & Experience :
  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role with significant AWS exposure.
  • Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Proven experience with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).
  • Scripting ability (Python, Bash, or similar languages).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
  • Experience in monitoring and log management (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Background in app / network / cloud security best practices and troubleshooting.

    • Nice to Have :

  • AWS DevOps or Solutions Architect certification.
  • Experience with cost optimization in cloud environments.
  • Background in infrastructure automation for complex enterprise platforms.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
