Full Stack Engineer - Type Script (Contract)

Job description5+ years full-stack engineering experience. Deep expertise in TypeScript and Node.js. Strong background in API integrations, REST patterns, and mock API design. Experience building or integrating MCP servers (highly preferred).
Full-Time Contract Opportunity : Full Stack Engineer- TypeScript
Duration- 3-4 weeks with a possible 3-month extension
Key Responsibilities :
- Integrate existing APIs into MCP server environments.
- Build high-quality mock API behavior with core business logic.
- Create lightweight backend services, endpoint orchestration, and modular server logic.
- Develop clean, maintainable, strongly-typed TypeScript and Node.js code.
- Collaborate closely with Handshake’s engineering team for alignment and iteration.
- Translate evolving requirements into well-structured engineering tasks.
- Own technical decisions required to execute the integration end-to-end.
