System Design & Architecture : Lead the design and development of the complete electrical architecture for new and existing genset models, ensuring compliance with global electrical safety and performance standards (e.g., IEC, UL, CE).
Control Panel Design : Execute detailed Control Panel Design, including electrical schematics, component layouts, terminal plans, and wiring diagrams using EPLAN Electric P8.
Wiring Harness Design : Own the end-to-end design and documentation of Genset Wiring Harnesses, optimizing for manufacturability, cost, and field serviceability.
Controller Integration : Specify, select, and manage the technical Integration of Genset Controllers (e.g., Deep Sea, ComAp, Woodward), ensuring seamless communication with the engine, alternator, and external systems.
Documentation & CAD : Generate, verify, and maintain all electrical documentation, including detailed Drawing Creation (schematics, cable schedules, SLDs, P&IDs) and design specifications using EPLAN.
BOM Management (Windchill) : Responsible for the creation, accuracy, and BOM Updating within the Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, ensuring alignment with procurement and manufacturing.
Technical Leadership : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, participate in design reviews, and lead troubleshooting efforts during prototyping and production ramp-up.
Required Qualifications :
Experience : 5 to 8 years of professional experience in Electrical Design and Development for power generation
Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
