Job Description – Data Scientist - AI / ML Specialist (4–8 Years Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist - AI / ML professional with an advanced degree in a quantitative field or strong hands-on experience in data science and machine learning. The ideal candidate will be skilled in identifying AI / ML opportunities from open-ended business problems and leading end-to-end solution development in collaboration with engineering, product, and business teams.

You should have strong expertise in data mining, data processing, and building high-quality datasets. Proficiency in exploratory data analysis, statistical inference, and A / B testing fundamentals is essential.

A solid understanding of the complete machine learning lifecycle—including feature engineering, model training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and feedback loops—is required. Exposure to deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Caffe is a plus.

The role requires strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and PySpark, along with familiarity with NoSQL databases and handling unstructured data. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP), MLOps tools, and version control (Git) is preferred.

The candidate should be capable of conducting model RCA, reviewing documentation / code, and building reusable frameworks.

We are looking for a self-starter with excellent communication skills, strong teamwork abilities, and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Experience in banking or financial services is an added advantage, though strong logical reasoning and first-principles problem-solving skills are more critical.
