Main Responsibilities
The Student Conversion Manager will be responsible for working with the Director of Sales Operations to manage our Student Conversion Officers. The overall position will support our international sales strategy and driving student conversion. They will work closely with a range of different stakeholders including managing a team of staff and working with a team of stakeholders including sales teams, colleagues from our centres, and admissions team. This role is responsible for managing the results of the student conversion officers, but may be asked to support on other projects, including support at sales events, administrative work, and other projects supporting the student experience and sales operations.
Key Tasks
- Manage a team of staff to meet company targets.
- Support the meeting of sales targets across the business, supporting our conversion officers to be successful in their roles of working with the sales Team, to have students book credibility interviews, upload documents on CAS shield and ensure uploaded documents are correct .
- Train staff to see continual improvement of services provided by the team
- Problem solve barriers to recruitment.
- Proactively see potential issues and seek solutions
- Ensure all data reporting is correct, updating records on student recruitment information
- Drive a team to meet KPI's
- Lead by example of taking part in the key tasks of conversion staff as listed below :
- Speak with students directly to understand any barrier to their study, and resolve them
- Conduct mock interviews with students and provide meaningful feedback to have them improve
- Review interview results and conduct resits to make sure students improve
- Ensure document requirements are met, up to date, and correct.
- Help students understand the next step in their journey and action them to take those steps (document submission, deposit paying, interview booking, etc)
- Provide reporting and data analysis on regional performance
- Collate travel plans from students including visa status, accommodation details and current location
- Collaborate and coordinate across with teams regarding product knowledge and training
- Work cooperatively with stakeholders to ensure good channels of communication and exchange of relevant data.
- Provide excellent customer service to our stakeholders and students
- Identifying and implementing improvements to customer service at all levels within the organisation.
- To proactively support group planning, training team development activities and initiatives.
- Participate in cross-network sales and marketing initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
