Your area of work :
In your new position, you will become a member of the Cyber Defense team, part of Group Security. Cyber Defense team is responsible for all aspects of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Computer Emergency Response (CERT), and Security Operations Center (SOC).
In the advertised position, reporting to the Head of Cyber Defense, you will lead the Development & Automation unit, responsible in delivering Use Case development, automation of the different manual tasks in Cyber Defense and Application onboarding to the SIEM.
Your responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the Development & Automation team, ensuring alignment with Cyber Defense strategic objectives and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design of SIEM use cases, ensuring effective threat detection, response capabilities, and alignment with evolving threat landscapes.
- Drive automation initiatives to streamline manual processes across Cyber Defense operations, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Coordinate application onboarding to the SIEM platform, ensuring seamless integration, data quality, and compliance with security monitoring requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other Cyber Defense units to identify automation opportunities and improve security operations.
- Monitor and report on unit performance, providing regular updates to the Head of Cyber Defense and contributing to strategic planning and resource allocation.
Your profile :
University or comparable degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related discipline5+ years of experience working in the field of Cyber SecurityProven experience in leading technical teams within Cybersecurity, ideally in SIEM engineering, automation, or use case development.Strong understanding of SIEM platforms, log management, and security monitoring, with hands-on experience in onboarding applications and developing detection logic.Expertise in scripting and automation (e.G., Python, PowerShell, or similar), with a track record of streamlining manual processes in security operations.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into business value.Strategic mindset with the ability to prioritize and drive initiatives aligned with Cyber Defense objectives.Fluent in English (spoken and written);German / French language skills are a plus.
