We are seeking a compassionate and results-oriented Patient Counsellor to join our client's healthcare team through Acme Services . This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing daily clinic operations and contributing to its financial performance by effectively communicating treatment value, managing patient inquiries, and ensuring seamless coordination across departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong empathetic communication skills, a knack for patient relationship management, and a commitment to patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational & Financial Oversight : Responsible for the day-to-day operations and overall financial performance of the clinic , ensuring smooth workflow and revenue generation.
- Treatment Coordination : Engage in daily coordination with the consultant / clinic head based on the treatment advised by them, ensuring alignment and seamless patient care.
- Patient Education & Commitment : Effectively help patients understand the value of treatment , guiding and convincing patients to commit to treatment plans .
- Financial Explanation : Clearly explain the tariff of the respective procedures / investigations to patients in detail , ensuring transparency and clarity regarding costs.
- Reporting & Data Management : Accurately maintain counselor reports daily , including metrics on advice given, conversion rates, and patient-wise data for performance tracking.
- Finance Coordination : Facilitate smooth operations by coordinating with the finance department on matters such as invoices, getting discount approval, and billing .
- Complaint Resolution & Empathy : Establish a tone of empathy that helps to resolve any patient complaints or conflicts professionally and constructively, preserving patient trust.
- Patient Follow-up : Ensure consistent and comprehensive follow-up with patients at all stages of their treatment journey, from initial consultation to post-treatment care.
- Long-term Relationship Management : Act as a 'Doctor for life' by being responsible for long-term relationship management with the patient , fostering trust and loyalty.
