Job Title : VP-Catastrophe Modeling

Job Role :

As Vice President – Catastrophe Modeling, you will spearhead a high-impact analytics portfolio reporting to the EVP–Data & Analytics, driving global service delivery, capability expansion, and digital transformation across catastrophe modeling, exposure management, and insurance analytics. Based in Gurugram, Noida, Bangalore, or Pune, you’ll lead one of the largest CAT teams supporting global insurers, overseeing multi-service engagements, client governance, and innovation workshops. You’ll architect strategy for CAT and exposure analytics, build centers of excellence, scale AI / ML and data engineering teams, and deliver next-gen solutions in climate analytics, predictive underwriting, and embedded intelligence. With full P&L ownership, you’ll optimize margins, modernize delivery through automation and proprietary platforms, and shape commercial models for monetizable analytics products. A strategic leader and industry voice, you’ll mentor senior talent, publish thought leadership, and represent the firm at global forums—cementing its position as a digital-first powerhouse in insurance transformation.

Responsibilities

This is a strategic role, reporting to the EVP–Data & Analytics, leads service delivery, capability growth, P&L management, and digital transformation for analytics business.

Location : Gurugram / Noida / Bangalore / Pune

Key responsibilities include :

Delivery & Client Management

• Manage multi-service engagements involving catastrophe modelling, exposure management, data engineering, and analytics.
• Oversee delivery for one of the largest cat team supporting multiple global insurance clients, focusing on consistent service standards and client satisfaction.
• Facilitate governance discussions and strategic planning with clients to coordinate on roadmaps, KPIs, and growth objectives.
• Organize workshops aimed at exploring innovation and transformation opportunities with clients.
• Prepare white papers, research articles, and industry analyses to share perspectives related to insurance and financial analytics.
• Participate in conferences, webinars, and client forums to contribute to industry discussions.
• Provide publications and insights on topics such as GenAI, embedded analytics, and data modernization.
