Job description

Job Title : HR Manager

Location : Calicut, Kerala

Experience : 2–3 Years (Preferably in EdTech Industry)

Qualification : MBA in Human Resource Management or equivalent

Key Responsibilities :

1.⁠ ⁠Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Handle end-to-end hiring process for multiple departments including Sales, Operations, Academic, and Marketing.

Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and create effective job descriptions.

Manage interview scheduling, candidate evaluation, and onboarding processes.

2.⁠ ⁠Employee Relations & Engagement

Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with company values.

Conduct regular check-ins, feedback sessions, and engagement activities to enhance retention.

Handle employee grievances with professionalism and empathy.

3.⁠ ⁠Payroll & Attendance Management

Oversee monthly payroll processing, attendance tracking, and leave management.

Ensure statutory compliance including PF, ESI, and other applicable labor laws.

Maintain accurate employee records and HRMIS updates.

4.⁠ ⁠Performance Management

Coordinate periodic performance reviews and maintain appraisal documentation.

Assist in setting OKRs and monitoring employee progress.

Support learning and development initiatives to improve employee performance.

5.⁠ ⁠HR Operations & Compliance

Maintain and update HR policies and procedures as per organizational goals.

Ensure compliance with company standards, labor regulations, and confidentiality policies.

Support management in implementing organizational development strategies.

Key Skills Required :

  • Strong people management and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, payroll management, and HR operations.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Knowledge of HR software / tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced EdTech environment.
