Description : About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and implement scalable, high-performance solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across multiple ServiceNow modules, strong scripting and integration skills, and a passion for building automation and process optimization solutions aligned with ITIL and enterprise service management best practices.
Key Responsibilities :
Application Development :
- Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications and modules, including but not limited to ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and custom applications.
Customization & Configuration :
Build and maintain catalog items, workflows, UI policies, client / server scripts, business rules, and UI actions to enhance platform functionality.Integration Development :
Develop and manage REST / SOAP API integrations between ServiceNow and third-party or in-house systems using Integration Hub and Flow Designer.Service Portal Development :
Design and implement Service Portal widgets, themes, and pages using HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and ServiceNow APIs.System Administration & Maintenance :
Perform platform administration, manage instance upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and optimize platform performance and stability.Governance & Best Practices :
Ensure all development adheres to ServiceNow coding standards, performance best practices, and security guidelines.Collaboration & Delivery :
Work closely with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver end-to-end solutions.Documentation & Support :
Create and maintain technical documentation, test cases, and release notes for developed components and integrations.Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.2 to 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.Solid understanding of ServiceNow data model, tables, and relationships.Experience working with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Service Portal.Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems using REST / SOAP APIs.Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management concepts.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills(ref : hirist.tech)
