Account Manager - Government Sales Overview :
As an Account Manager Government Sales, you will be responsible for developing and expanding relationships with government sector clients (Education & Research, PSU, Defense, Railways, etc.
You will play a strategic role in driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and ensuring exceptional client Responsibilities :
Client Engagement & Relationship Building :
- Build, nurture, and strengthen long-term relationships with key decision-makers in Government, PSU, Education, Research, Defense, and Railways sectors.
Solution Selling & Business Development :
Identify customer needs and propose customized solutions across Netwebs portfolio (Servers, Storage, Networking, HPC, Cloud, AI / ML, Security, and Services).Drive strategic sales opportunities, ensuring alignment with clients business and technical requirements.Account Ownership & Growth :
Develop and execute account / territory plans, sales forecasting, and pipeline management.Expand share of spend across multiple solution categories.Deliver sales leadership on large, complex, and high-value opportunities.Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :
Work closely with cross-functional teams and OEM / technology partners to deliver tailored solutions.Ensure smooth coordination with delivery and post-sales teams for client satisfaction.Market Intelligence :
Stay updated on government tenders, procurement policies, and industry trends.Track competition and contribute insights to refine sales & Skills Required :Experience : 510 years in B2B technology solution sales, with a proven track record in government / PSU / defense sector sales.
Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
Domain Knowledge : Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, HPC, storage, networking, and security Exceptional customer management and strategic selling abilities.
