EHS Manager - Environment sustainability and compliance specialist

We are looking for a candidate with 7–10 years of experience, ideally someone who has :

  • Strong exposure to Environmental portion of BRSR filings and sustainability project management
  • Experience working across multiple sites at a national level
  • A solid foundation in Health & Safety (H&S)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead environmental sustainability initiatives across India operations.
  • Manage EHS compliance across all India sites, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal standards.
  • Drive sustainability reporting for the global ESG team and oversee BRSR filings.
  • Establish and enhance environmental sustainability processes and frameworks.
  • Validate site-level and regional environmental data; develop KPIs based on sustainability baselines.
  • Coach site EHS and plant leadership teams on sustainability and compliance practices.
  • Train plant managers and operations leaders on EHS compliance obligations.
  • Support customer BRSR filings by providing accurate environmental data.
  • Assist with ISO 14001 & 45001 audits and ensure audit readiness.
  • Manage India ENHESA reporting and track compliance across all sites.
  • Lead H&S risk reduction initiatives and promote a culture of safety.
  • Collaborate with legal, plant managers, site EHS leaders, and leadership teams to drive alignment and execution.

    • The ideal candidate will bring a balance of technical expertise, leadership capability, and strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, along with prior H&S experience.
