BIM Design Engineer (Electrical)

manpower solutions expert , is hiring a

BIM Design Engineer (Electrical)

for our client—a

leading company in electrical solutions, power distribution, panel board manufacturing, and turnkey projects.

You will be part of the design & engineering team that supports turnkey electrical works, panel board manufacturing, HT / LT systems, building electrical systems, etc. (similar to the domain of Shrishti Power Technologies)

Key Responsibilities

Develop

3D electrical models

and drawings using BIM software (e.g., Revit MEP)

Produce

schematics, single-line diagrams, power & lighting layouts , conduit / cable routing

Perform

clash detection & resolution

in coordination with mechanical, plumbing, structural teams

Carry out

electrical load calculations, panel sizing, circuit design, voltage drop & cable selection

Generate

panel schedules, cable schedules, bill of materials (BOMs)

and support cost estimation

Work with project leads to integrate BIM models into project deliverables

Assist in

coordination with site engineers, contractors, and other disciplines

Support change management, revisions, and as-built documentation

Provide data for

facility management (FM) handover , maintenance, and asset tracking

Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, local codes, safety norms, and client specifications

Qualifications & Skills

Essential : Bachelor’s degree in

Electrical Engineering

or equivalent

Solid experience (+5 years) in

electrical design

for building / industrial / panel projects

Hands-on expertise in

BIM tools —e.g., Revit MEP, Navisworks, BIM 360

Strong skills in

electrical engineering software / tools (load calculation tools, lighting design tools)

Knowledge of HT / LT systems, panel boards, switchgear, protection schemes

Understanding of

Indian electrical codes, IEC / IEC standards, safety codes

Ability to read structural / architectural drawings and integrate electrical design

Good communication and coordination skills—work with cross-discipline teams

Attention to detail, problem-solving, and ability to adapt to evolving project requirements

Preferred / Advantageous :

Experience with

turnkey projects

or panel board manufacturing domain

Exposure to

construction site coordination & implementation

Knowledge of

facility / asset management

or FM handover processes

Certification or training in BIM or relevant electrical design courses

Familiarity with industry software like AutoCAD, ETAP, Dialux, or similar

Detect conflicts early and propose design modifications

Provide technical support during execution, site visits, clarifications

Maintain documentation and revision control
