Please find details below : Role : AIX AdminExp : 8 to 12 YearsLocation : HyderabadVenue : TCS HyderabadAddress : Tata Consultancy Services Deccan Park(2S2 Zone), Plot No 1,Software Units Layout, Hitech City, Madhapur-Hyderabad 500081.JD : - 5 - 8 years of experience in IBM AIX Server Administration- As this is for a L2 requirement, candidates should have strong skills in installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of all areas of IBM AIX Server including high availability, replication, disaster recovery, patching, backup & recovery, performance tuning, optimizing, and securing AIX Servers in a large environment.- Administer and maintain AIX systems including LVM, HACMP ,VIO servers, and HMC.- Perform OS upgrades and patching on AIX and Red Hat Linux systems.- Configure and manage IBM Pacemaker clusters for high availability.- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across AIX and Linux environments.- Manage logical volumes, file systems, and storage configurations.- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure system reliability and performance.- Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.- Ensure compliance with security policies and implement system hardening practices.- Extensive knowledge on IBM HMc and firmware upgrades- Strong knowledge on AIX upgrades from 7.2 to 7.3 and Vio version upgrades- Installation of redhat linux servers using Kickstart and AIX servers through NIM.- Excellent documentation skills. Should have prior experience in creating design documents, SOPs etc.- Flexible working in 24x7 operations (working in shifts, on-call support etc.)- Should have excellent communication and presentation skills as the candidate needs to work with Architects, Service Owners, Business Partners and other technical teams- Good understanding of ITIL processes Incident, Problem, Configuration and Change Management (ITIL)- Flexible to learn other technologies as per project requirementsDocuments to Carry : 1.TCS application form available on iBegin2.
