Job Opportunity : Sports Content Editor

EssentiallySports is a leading sports media company with a mission to redefine how fans engage with sports content. Since 2014, we have been providing millions of monthly pageviews for sports fandoms worldwide.

As a Sports Content Editor, your primary responsibility will be to edit and publish articles that are fact-checked, well-researched, and ready to deliver value to our readers.

You'll work closely with a skilled team of writers, editors, and content managers to refine and elevate the content we publish.
Every article you touch will be optimized for SEO and crafted to resonate with readers and leave a lasting impression.
You'll fine-tune content to enhance its impact and relevance even after it's been published.

Key Responsibilities :

Edit and publish articles on various sports topics.

Collaborate with the content team to develop high-quality content.

Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and reliability of information.

Requirements :

A Bachelor's Degree in English, Media / Journalism, or a similar discipline.

1-2 years of experience in sports content editing, proofreading, or any other similar role.

Possess leadership skills to inspire, guide, and mentor a team of talented writers.
