Job Description
Responsible for developing creative solutions to challenging issues associated with the design, development, and sustaining engineering for our new and existing home dialysis product portfolio. The successful candidate will possess solid “hands-on” technical abilities, for product development & Sustenance Activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Development of mechanical systems by designing and applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials. Preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Contributes to development and documentation of mechanical systems architectures.
- Able to effectively transition products to manufacturing and ensure robust products and manufacturing processes.
- Performs in-depth mechanical engineering analysis and calculations, Risk Analysis.
- Resolves competing constraints between interrelated functions (engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, regulatory, marketing, etc.) required to deliver the product to market.
- Defines standard work instructions or SoP for design & testing in the mechanical oil & gas systems or sub systems.
- Having 3 years’ experience in Autodesk Inventor part modelling, sheet metal modelling, ECN & ECR Process in vault, iLogic & drawing creation with GD&T standards.
- Creates and communicates design / test plans, tasks, deliverables and status. Manages time and resources to meet committed schedule milestones.
- Good understanding of the regulatory environment for Design, Develop and Manufacture of industrial products.
- Knowledge of standards such as ANSI, ASTM standards, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Success in working with multi functional, global teams.
- Excellent interpersonal / communication / influencing skills required.
Requirements
Qualifications : A graduate or a postgraduate in Mechanical engineering and 4-5 years of experience. Knowledge and experience using CAD systems for design Specific experience in design and development of Fluid sub systems are highly desirable.
