Workato Developer

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Workato Integration Developer to support the migration of enterprise integrations from TIBCO BW 5x to Workato.

The role will majorly focus on design & develop the Workato Recipe's by understanding existing Tibco BW logic.

The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in Workato, with additional background in TIBCO BW 5x is highly preferred.

Responsibilities :

Serve as the Workato Integration Developer for the migration initiative.

Understand the Tibco BW 5x logic and develop Workato recipes for complex integration use cases.

Knowledge of custom Workato Accelerators like AOF, CI / CD, OPA, AQS etc. to automate the recipe lifecycle.

Provide status reports and communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications :

5+ years of professional experience in enterprise application integration and automation.

3+ years of hands-on experience specifically with the Workato platform.

Deep expertise in designing, building, and managing Workato recipes, custom connectors, OPAs and API collections.

Strong understanding of data transformation, data mapping, ETL principles and synchronization techniques.

Extensive experience with REST architecture, including designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.

Experience with message queuing systems (Workato Event Stream, Tibco EMS, Kafka, etc.).

Understanding of OAuth and other authentication protocols.

Experience with CI / CD pipelines for integration deployments.

Knowledge of database systems and SQL.

Workato Certification - Automation Pro 1 & Pro 2 (must-have), Automation Pro 3 (Preferred).

Experience in documenting integration requirements and mapping data flows.

Agile delivery experience (epic / sprint, user stories, Tasks).

Preferred Qualifications :

Prior experience or Knowledge of TIBCO BW (for migration context).

Proficiency in Python or Ruby for custom integration and logic implementation.

Experience in migrating from Tibco BW 5x to Workato.

Soft Skills :

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
