Summary :
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Industrial Product Designer to join our innovative healthcare technology team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of medical device design by creating user-centered, ergonomic, and aesthetically refined products that enhance patient care and clinical efficiency. Your work will directly impact the usability, safety, and manufacturability of critical healthcare solutions, from diagnostic tools to wearable devices. As an Industrial Product Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, regulatory, and clinical specialists to bring concepts from initial sketch to final production-ready designs. Responsibilities :
- Develop conceptual designs through sketching, visualization, and digital modeling to address user needs and clinical workflows.
- Create detailed 3D models using CAD software (CATIA, Autodesk, SolidWorks) with a focus on ergonomics, manufacturability, and compliance with medical device standards.
- Produce high-fidelity renderings and visual presentations to communicate design intent to stakeholders, including engineering, marketing, and executive teams.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and industrial design leads to ensure design feasibility, material selection, and production readiness.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design concepts and iterate based on clinical feedback.
- Maintain design documentation, including design specifications, change logs, and compliance records in line with ISO 13485 and FDA regulatory requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, prototyping sessions, and cross-functional team meetings throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Stay current with emerging trends in healthcare design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.1–3 years of professional experience in industrial product design, preferably within the medical device or healthcare technology sector.Proficiency in CAD software, including CATIA, Autodesk (e.g., Fusion 360), and SolidWorks, with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical and creative capability.Expertise in sketching, visual storytelling, and digital rendering tools (e.g., KeyShot, Photoshop, Illustrator) to effectively communicate design concepts.Demonstrated understanding of human factors engineering and user-centered design principles in healthcare environments.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.Familiarity with regulatory standards such as ISO 13485, FDA Design Controls, and IEC 62304 is highly desirable.Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team and present design concepts clearly and confidently.Benefits
