Job description

Prerequisites :

  • Education : Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field. MBA / PGDM is preferred.
  • Experience : 8-12 years of experience in Print Media advertising sales, media sales, or corporate sales from a News Publishing Industry.
  • Skills & Competencies :
  • Strong network with media agencies, brands, and direct advertisers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM tools and digital ad platforms is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and onboard new clients across industries for advertising partnerships.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research to analyze industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Develop and nurture long-term client relationships by understanding their business needs and marketing objectives.
  • Act as a trusted consultant by recommending advertising solutions tailored to client goals.
  • Provide after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and deliverables while ensuring profitability and compliance.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets.
