The Role

We’re looking for a Legal Associate (5+ years PQE) to own and scale our US contracting function—supporting our fast-growing sales motion. You’ll negotiate complex enterprise deals, work across jurisdictions (US, UK, EMEA, APAC), and be the go-to advisor on privacy, AI, and IP issues.

What You’ll Do

• Own the contract lifecycle – draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements (MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, vendor and partnership agreements, NDAs, teaming arrangements, etc.).
• Drive deals to close – partner with Sales, Finance, and Implementation teams to accelerate revenue while protecting company interests.
• Spot and solve – identify commercial and legal risks early and propose practical, business-friendly mitigations.
• Advise across borders – counsel internal teams on privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and intellectual property issues across multiple jurisdictions.
• Simplify the legal – translate complex legal positions into clear, actionable guidance for non-lawyers.
• Stay ahead – track legal trends in tech, AI, and data regulation; brief leadership on emerging risk areas.
• Build scalable processes – develop templates, playbooks, and deal trackers that streamline operations.
• Be the legal conscience – contribute to strategic initiatives that shape how Oro does business globally.
