Job descriptionCPA (or in process) or CA with 3-5 years of experience within a public accounting firm or US auditing CPA firm Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including responsiveness to US Offices Strong organizational skills & multi-tasking abilities are required Industry exposure : NFP and / or General Commercial Audit Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills Ability to work well independently but also work well with others Approaches projects with a sense of urgency Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications Knowledge of Caseware, caseview or IDEA is a plus Comply with firm / A&A department policies. Use down time effectively and comply with Firm's CPE requirement. Salary : Commensurate with Industry standards. Job Description :
Responsibilities Includes, but not Limited to :
- Perform and assist with audits, reviews and compilations for clients in various industries under US GAAP and US GAAS
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls
- Assist with the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap- up
- Deep understanding of accounting and reporting standards generally accepted in United State
- Able to do US GAAP & US GAAS research independently
- Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines
- Mentor, train and supervise lighter level staff
- Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel
- Communicate with Supervisor / Manager and / or Director on work status and client issues that arise
