About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright, Selenium, and Java-based test automation. The role involves designing scalable test frameworks, driving CI / CD automation integration, and ensuring high product quality through continuous testing and collaboration with development and QA teams.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, and Java.
  • Automate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.
  • Integrate test automation into CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Debug and analyze test failures; collaborate closely with developers to resolve defects efficiently.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage by building reusable and maintainable automation scripts.
  • Partner with QA, Dev, and Product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
  • Generate, track, and maintain detailed test reports and metrics.
  • Stay updated on emerging automation tools, frameworks, and QA best practices.

Qualifications :

  • 8–12 years of hands-on automation testing experience.
  • Required Skills :

  • Strong proficiency in Java for scripting and framework development.
  • Solid experience with Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber frameworks.
  • Practical knowledge of CI / CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong understanding of Git-based version control systems (GitHub / Bitbucket).
  • Experience in API testing using Postman or RestAssured.
  • Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Knowledge of cloud-based test execution platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
  • Experience with performance or security testing tools.
  • Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of test data management and mocking frameworks.
