AWS Security Consultant

Role Description

CloudHire is seeking an AWS Security Consultant for a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The AWS Security Consultant will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures for cloud environments, analyzing potential security threats, and developing strategies to strengthen application, network, and information security. The role involves conducting vulnerability assessments, providing guidance on security best practices, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to security policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Security Consulting, including the ability to analyze, design, and implement security solutions tailored to cloud environments
• Strong skills in Application Security, such as identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring robust protection for applications
• Expertise in Cybersecurity and Network Security to detect, prevent, and respond to security breaches effectively
• Comprehensive knowledge of Information Security principles, including risk management and regulatory compliance
• Hands-on experience with AWS security tools and services
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CISSP, or CISM are highly advantageous

cloud environments supporting enterprise IT, manufacturing systems, and digital

platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design secure AWS cloud architectures.

- Implement IAM, VPC security, encryption, and logging.

- Perform cloud security risk assessments and threat modeling.
