Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Economics Faculty for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) at Indus International School Bangalore (IISB) located in Bengaluru. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching Economics to IBDP students. Day-to-day tasks include developing lesson plans, delivering lectures, facilitating discussions, assessing student performance, and providing support to students in their academic growth. Additional responsibilities include participating in faculty meetings, contributing to curriculum development, and engaging in professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years&apos of teaching within the IBDP Curriculum and framework
• Experience of handling IAs and EEs.
• Bachelors and Master's degree in Economics or related field; a Ph.D. is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students
• IBDP teaching certification or training is a plus
• Experience in a similar setting is must
