Job descriptionB.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Supply Chain Management. 4–5 years' experience in aerospace sourcing / vendor development, especially sheet metal parts. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, costing, and quality standards. Skilled in negotiation, supplier management, and zero-based costing. Proficient in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Fluency in English, Kannada, and Hindi preferred.
Job Title : Senior Engineer – Sourcing (Aerospace Sheet Metal)
Department : Purchase | Location : Jalahalli Unit |
Experience : 4–5 years | Age : 26+ | Notice Period : Immediate–30 days
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for aerospace sheet metal commodities (Aluminum, Titanium, SS, HRSA).
- Identify and qualify suppliers per AS9100 / NADCAP standards; manage vendor relationships and audits.
- Lead commercial and technical negotiations ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams for material specifications and manufacturability.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace quality and regulatory requirements.
- Mitigate supply risks through alternate sourcing and contingency planning.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) and continuous improvement in sourcing processes.
- Maintain sourcing data and reporting through SAP and MS Office tools.
